Our indoor, seated tastings are guided by a knowledgeable Formando host and designed to be both engaging and approachable. Throughout your experience, you’ll discover the family’s ranching heritage, the character of Texas terroir, the intention behind each wine, and thoughtful ways to taste, pair, and enjoy what is in your glass.

Visit during regular hours to enjoy wine by the glass or bottle alongside a seasonal food menu prepared on-site. No tasting reservation is required to stop in for wine and food, although seating is based on availability.

Patio seating is first-come, first-served. Well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors and must remain leashed. Only service animals are permitted inside the tasting room.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Are reservations required?

Reservations are recommended to guarantee seating. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

How long is a guided tasting?

Please allow approximately 60–90 minutes for your seated, host-guided experience.

What is the latest available tasting time?

The final guided tasting begins at 3:30 p.m.

Can I visit without booking a tasting?

Yes. Guests may visit during regular hours to enjoy food and wine by the glass or bottle. Seating is based on availability.

Are guided tastings available to guests under 21?

Wine tasting and alcohol service are limited to guests age 21 and older. Supervised children may accompany adults but may not participate in a tasting or consume alcohol.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Children must remain supervised by an adult at all times.

Are dogs welcome?

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio. Pets are not permitted inside the tasting room. Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable requirements.

Can Formando accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please notify us at least 48 hours before your visit. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary needs, although substitutions may depend on the menu and availability. Guests with serious allergies should contact us before reserving.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Formando offers a seasonal menu prepared on-site, along with wines by the glass and bottle.

Is Formando accessible to guests with mobility needs?

Yes. Accessible parking, entrances, seating, and restrooms are available.

Is parking available?

Yes. Complimentary parking is available on-site. The property also accommodates convenient drop-off and pickup for rideshare services and hired wine-tour vehicles.

Do you accept large groups?

Online reservations are available for up to six guests. Groups of seven or more should contact info@formandovineyards.com for assistance.

Does a tasting include a vineyard or winery tour?

No. Current tasting experiences are seated and guided by a Formando host. Vineyard and production tours are not included.
